Email Setup Guide
Mail Client Configuration
Select your domain, copy the server settings, and configure your mail client. Same as the kubasek.vip guide, now wearing the brown road uniform.

Server Settings
Select your domain and the settings below will update automatically.
The selected server name will replace every mail.[your-domain] reference.

Desktop Clients
Thunderbird
- Enter your name and email address.
- Click Configure manually... at the bottom left.
- Select IMAP.
- Enter the server settings from above.
- Username:
loginnamewithout@domain.
Certificate warning
Thunderbird may warn about the certificate. Click Accept the Risk and Continue — it is your server, you trust it... right?
Outlook
- File → Add Account → Manual setup.
- Choose POP or IMAP.
- Account Type: IMAP.
- Incoming and outgoing server:
mail.[your-domain]. - Logon:
loginname, not the full email address. - More Settings → Outgoing Server → check My outgoing server requires authentication.
Certificate warning
Click Yes to proceed.
Mobile
Gmail · Android
- Open Gmail → Add account → Other (IMAP).
- Enter the email address.
- Choose Personal (IMAP/POP).
- Server:
mail.[your-domain]:993. - Security: SSL/TLS.
- SMTP:
mail.[your-domain]:587. - Username:
loginname, just the name, no@domain.
Certificate warning
Gmail may complain about the certificate. Tap Proceed Anyway. Google judges your life choices silently.
iPhone Mail
- Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other.
- Add Mail Account → enter details.
- Choose IMAP. POP is for peasants.
- Incoming:
mail.[your-domain]. - Outgoing:
mail.[your-domain]. - Tap Save and wait for the judgmental spinning wheel.
Cannot Verify Server Identity
Tap Details → Trust. Requires iOS 14 or later. Earlier versions may require sacrificing a Lightning cable to the gods of Cupertino.
